A lot of companies are now using Applicant Tracking Systems which just look for key words in the resume. I would hate to miss out on a great employee just because they were missing a word in their resume! Jobfox’s innovative matching system provides a truly genius way of getting to the best candidates. They have this great “About Me” page. Sometimes, a resume just doesn’t tell the whole story or it is loaded with “fluff” content. Most of the time, I don’t even have time to read through the entire resume, so the “About Me” gives me the key word run down in a visual format that quickly shows me which skills have been utilized the most by the job seeker. Their “About Me” page lists their qualifications, work history, key skills and experiences effectively. It’s amazing that more candidates don’t use this!

I am quickly able to see their length of experience, education and past experience in a short concise way, which allows me to quickly go through and decide if I want to investigate further (a great time saver).

Another cool thing about their “About Me” page is the ability to look at their profile through different views. The interactive view allows me to see the connections they have made throughout their career (an effective tool to see their career path).

The Summary view allows me to see everything about the candidate (schools, authorizations, etc). It also pulls up the information the candidate entered about themselves and highlights the areas that candidates it most interested (or experienced in). Sometimes on a resume, you can’t really tell the passion of that person, so this is a great feature to really allow me the figure out that person quickly.

Finally, the Q&A section really allows me to get into the personality of the candidates (something a resume doesn’t really allow). It shows the candidates goals, as well as some typical interview questions.

This public page that Jobfox provides for us to look at candidates is a tool that I am really glad that we found. I’ve used other searches and became tired of not being able to find the right candidate. Bravo to Jobfox for creating an innovative tool for helping the right people get hired!

There are so many people who are just spamming resumes to hundreds of employers with no luck. This is frustrating to not only the candidates but to the employer, as well.

I feel confident using Jobfox.com as a place to find qualified candidates amongst the thousands of scams out there. New websites, companies, people, etc are consistently trying to promote their candidates and I can trust in Jobfox that it won’t be a scam! Its trusting to know that I’m looking for a job with a company where I know there is no JobFox Scam.
